As an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I am privileged to hear from a prophet living on the earth today who is given revelation and guidance by Heavenly Father. Yes the same God who led Moses and the children of Israel out of Egypt and gave Jonas a second chance after being swallowed by the whale. The same God who led the Nephites to the promised land and lit rocks for the Jaredites to travel across the vast ocean. The same God who created the earth and heavens, fouls, beasts, and plants. This same God of the Abrahamic covenant continues to give direction and guidance today. We but have to open our ears to hear and our hearts to listen.

I believe the teachings and testimonies of the modern day prophet, President Thomas S. Monson as well as those given by his counselors, President Henry B. Eyring and President Dieter F. Uchtdorf and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

This blog is part of my desire to continue my learning of spiritual things and share them with others. I hope to continue to use this blog to keep quotes pertaining to subjects that either affect my life or the life of those around me.
